Summer Fest 2017
Every year, we got a little bit better at promoting our message. We do seem to be missing a few years of pictures, but note our snazzy new banner. We also began providing water for our dog visitors. This was a big hit!!
Summer Fest 2014
On a roll!! This year, we were able to recruit three new volunteers who learned about our work from our booth at the Hudson Summer Fest.
Mock Deployment 2014
In our second mock deployment, we had 15 human participants (as compared to eight the previous year) and seven pets (up from three). We learned some useful lessons about traffic and logistics planning for a larger group!
Summer Fest 2013
In our first appearance at Hudson’s annual Summer Fest, we distributed educational material with the theme “When You Go - They Go.”
Mock Deployment 2013
In May 2013, we held our first mock deployment. The event was hosted by Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc., a wonderful Hudson-based organization that has been a steadfast supporter of our work. For this first mock deployment, we relied heavily on our own volunteers and their pets to play the role of evacuees.
